I love to bike, roller blade, run, kayak, snowshoe, swim, and go for walks. Cycling is by far my favorite, but really I am game to anything that gets me outside.
I am not a huge fan of working out in the gym but I love food far too much, making my gym trips a necessary evil. This is where having workout buddies save my ass (literally), because they never let me back out of our scheduled workouts. At my age, resistance to flab is probably futile, but I won’t go down without a fight!
On a side note – my outward appearance does not necessarily physically reflect my capacity to exercise (interpret that as you wish – haha!), but I am living proof that you can be overweight and still exercise, be fit, and have fun doing it! So no excuses out there – if I can do it, so can you.
